Delete your Braindump account
Last updated: July 20, 2026
Deleting your account removes your Braindump account and synced data from the active service. Google may take up to 180 days to remove retained authentication and cloud-data copies from its live and backup systems. The local copy on each device stays there until you clear it.
Delete in the app
Open Braindump and tap the profile icon in the top right. Under Account, choose Delete account and confirm. You need an internet connection, and you may be asked to sign in again as a security step.
Braindump removes your synced notes, categories, settings, learned sorting data, and deletion markers from the active Firebase database, then deletes your sign-in account. You will no longer be able to use that account, and this cannot be undone. Your local Braindump data is not erased.
Can't get into the app?
Email tgiamberini95@gmail.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my Braindump account”. Braindump may reply to verify the request. Your account and active synced data will be removed within 30 days, and you will receive a confirmation reply.
What's left afterwards
The app verifies that your synced content is gone from Braindump's active database before it removes the account. A different device with a recently issued sign-in session could briefly send a queued change while that session expires; if synced content appears again, email the address above and Braindump will complete the verified removal within 30 days. Google states that removal of retained authentication and cloud-data copies from live and backup systems may take up to 180 days, unless the law requires longer retention.
Each device keeps its separate local copy until you uninstall Braindump or clear its app or site storage on that device. An email deletion request and confirmation are separate from synced Braindump data and remain in the contact email account until that correspondence is deleted.
